Course Descriptions
A hands-on, CPD-certified training program called the Cannulation Skills Course teaches students how to place intravenous (IV) cannulas safely and confidently. Regardless of your level of experience, this course offers practical instruction in vein selection, aseptic technique, cannula insertion, and post-procedure care. It’s a prerequisite for anyone working in aesthetics, healthcare, or IV therapy. This course is an essential component of contemporary healthcare education, giving students demand-driven clinical skills that promote safe and efficient health education in both medical and wellness contexts. 1. Qualifications & Admission Learners must be at least eighteen years old and proficient in English. It is desirable if you have experience with or an interest in aesthetics or healthcare. If requirements are not fulfilled, entry may be denied. 2. Attendance Attendance in full is required. Entry may be denied to anyone who arrive more than fifteen minutes late, with no reimbursement. Failure to show up results in a loss of spot and cost. 3. Assessment & Certification Only after completing theory and practice successfully is certification granted. Certification may be revoked for unsafe or improper equipment use. Trainers have the authority to reassess. 4. Use of Sharps and Equipment Students are required to abide by stringent health and safety regulations. Sharps must only be handled carefully and disposed of in designated sharps containers. No re-sheathing is permitted. The learner is accountable for any injuries brought on by improper handling. 5. Accountability Disclaimer Any incidents or injuries brought on by misbehavior by learners or improper usage of training are not SkillsUpTraining’s responsibility. Certification verifies proficiency; it is not a medical degree or a permit to work on one’s own. 6. Cancellations & Refunds A refund less a £30 administrative fee will be given for cancellations made more than seven days before to the training. No reimbursements for courses missed or cancellations made within seven days. A complete refund or rescheduling is provided in the event that SkillsUpTraining cancels. 7. Safety and Health Wearing PPE is required. Students are required to declare any access or medical needs beforehand. Those who are ill or under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not allowed to attend. 8. Conduct and Clothes Code A respectful demeanor is always expected. Any disruptive behavior will be removed without a refund.
Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility & Entry Learners must be 18+ with a good command of English. A background or active interest in healthcare or aesthetics is preferred but not essential. Skills Up Training Ltd reserves the right to refuse entry if entry requirements are not met. 2. Attendance Full attendance is required for certification. Learners arriving more than 15 minutes late may be refused entry without refund. Non-attendance without notice results in forfeiture of the course fee and place. 3. Assessment & Certification Certificates are awarded only upon successful completion of both theory and practical assessments. Unsafe or incorrect technique may result in withheld certification. Reassessment is at trainer discretion and may incur an additional fee. 4. Sharps & Equipment Learners must follow strict health and safety rules. Sharps must only be used under supervision and disposed of in approved sharps containers. Re-sheathing is strictly prohibited. Any injury from negligence or mishandling is the learner’s responsibility. 5. Liability Skills Up Training Ltd accepts no liability for injuries or harm resulting from learner misconduct or misuse of training. Certification confirms competence at the time of training but does not qualify the learner to practise independently or as a medical professional. 6. Refunds & Cancellations made more than 7 days before the course will be refunded minus a £50 admin fee. No refunds or date changes are permitted within 7 days, including for lateness or non-attendance. If Skills Up Training Ltd cancels, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.. 7. Health & Safety PPE must be worn. Any medical conditions, allergies, or access needs must be declared in advance. Entry will be refused to anyone unwell or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. 8. Behaviour & Dress Code Professional behaviour is mandatory. Disruptive conduct results in removal without refund. Phones must be silent. Wear clean, professional attire and closed shoes. Hair tied back; no polish or extensions. 9. Consent & Media Recording is not permitted unless authorised. Group photos may be used for promotion; learners can opt out. Unsafe behaviour may result in removal or disqualification. 10.Certificate Name Accuracy Learners must provide their full legal name correctly at registration.
