Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)

TQUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) – EFAW

Course Descriptions

This Level 3 Regulated Course equips you to handle workplace emergencies by teaching you the fundamentals of first aid. Since UCAS recognizes this certificate, if you successfully complete this training, you can claim 8 tariff points, which will be used to your UCAS application if you’re applying for a study at a British university starting in September 2023. For the purposes of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (NI) 1982, as well as any updates or modifications, this regulated qualification is perfect for individuals who are currently employed in the industry or planning to work there and want to become Emergency First Aiders in the workplace. The suggested training lasts one day and covers the following topics: identifying signs and symptoms of illness and injury, evaluating an incident, helping a casualty who is ill and injured, and the roles and responsibilities of the Emergency First Aider. Continuous oral and/or written interrogation as well as hands-on demonstration are used to evaluate the qualification. A minimum of six hours of classroom instruction spread over one day is required for this qualification, excluding breaks. The HSE and Awarding Organizations declared in May 2016 that all workplace first aid courses could now be completed through computer-based blended learning. Every student who finishes this course will receive UCAS points, which will help them advance to a higher education program. Higher education course providers employ UCAS tariff points, which convert credentials and grades into a numerical value, to determine if students have fulfilled their admission requirements. This new points system allows students to gain more UCAS points to help them advance into university, even though each university will have its own admission requirements. An Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate, which details their accomplishments, will be given to all successful students. According to HSE regulations, students must retake the Emergency First Aid at Work qualification within three years of earning the first one in order for it to be valid in the workplace. According to the HSE, in order to remain valid in the workplace, the entire Emergency First Aid at Work qualification needs to be retaken. Kindly get in touch with ProTrainings.
