TQUK Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) – EPFA

Course Descriptions

Since UCAS recognizes this certificate, if you successfully complete this training, you can claim 8 tariff points, which will be used to your UCAS application if you’re applying for a study at a British university starting in September 2023. This credential is intended for students who want to work as pediatric first responders and are accountable for the well-being of newborns and young children. Students enrolling as childminders or working in childcare facilities who are already employed or preparing to work in the field are the target audience for this certification. Students who receive this certification will understand that everyone working in a workplace has a duty to provide first aid. The Early Years Foundation Stage views the topics covered in this course as crucial to upholding best practices in the safe, timely, and efficient treatment of accidents and illnesses in infants and children entrusted to the care of qualified professionals. This certification satisfies the Early Years Foundation Stage’s criteria for Pediatric First Aid. Every student who finishes this course will receive UCAS points, which will help them advance to a higher education program. Higher education course providers employ UCAS tariff points, which convert credentials and grades into a numerical value, to determine if students have fulfilled their admission requirements. This new points system allows students to gain more UCAS points to help them advance into university, even though each university will have its own admission requirements. According to HSE regulations, all of our first aid courses completely comply with the most recent versions established by the Awarding Organizations and the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines. Please be aware that a minimum age of 14 is required for the classroom session. Regulated Qualification Details Students who complete this course have the chance to receive a legally recognized, regulated qualification. A regulated qualification is frequently necessary if you need funding. Give us a call, and we can offer advice if necessary.
