First Aid at Work 18 Hour Level 3 (VTQ)

First Aid at Work 18 Hour Level 3 (VTQ) – FAW

Course Descriptions

For the majority of organizations whose risk assessment has shown that they need a fully trained first aider for their workplace, the First Aid at Work Level 3 (VTQ) qualification (FAW) is perfect. Every course is taught, assessed, and quality-checked to satisfy the new standards and the First Aid at Work (First Aid) legislation of 1981 and any updates since. A minimum of three days and eighteen contact hours are required for this course, and the certificate is good for three years. You must complete a 12-hour, two-day FAW requalification course in order to renew. The HSE and Awarding Organizations declared in May 2016 that all workplace first aid courses could now be completed through computer-based blended learning. After finishing this online course and two days of classroom instruction, you can now become a fully certified first aider in the workplace. Use our dynamic, blended online video-based course to cut down on your training and travel expenses. Learn at your own speed and at a time that works for you, one-on-one with your teacher. This blended FAW course is offered as a ProTrainings or Regulated Qualification and satisfies all HSE and Awarding Organization standards. Our online course satisfies the HSE’s strong recommendation that all first responders take an annual first aid refresher course. Please be aware that students enrolled in training courses have the choice to pursue a regulated qualification. For first aid teachers who want to deliver their regulated credentials, TQUK accepts the ProTrainings First Aid at Work Qualification. This is because it satisfies the necessary due diligence and learning objectives. Please be aware that a minimum age of 14 is required for the classroom session. Together with a Certified CPD Statement, ProTrainings Certificate, and, for online courses, an Evidence Based Learning statement, the content of this and all of our courses has been independently certified to adhere to widely recognized Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines.
